Description:
This Learning, Earning, and Investing (LEI) training conference focuses
on helping educators teach youth and limited-resource audiences about the basics
of investing and how to make smart investment decisions. The training will showcase
Gen I Revolution, LEI’s exciting new online game where participants become
secret operatives and are assigned various missions to help save the world from
widespread financial despair. Each mission focuses on key savings and investment
concepts covered in the LEI curriculum. Rob Mehan from the Illinois Secretary
of State’s Securities Department will talk about long-run financial security,
investment fraud, and how to protect your assets. Conference participants will
receive FREE the Learning, Earning, and Investing curriculum materials,
access to the Gen I Revolution game, and numerous investment education links,
simulations, and other activities to share with students and clients.
